Iga Swiatek entered her name in the history books on Saturday (July 12) by becoming the second player to win the Wimbledon women’s singles final with a scoreline of 6-0, 6-0. The 24-year-old player from Poland faced USA’s Amanda Anisimova in the final of the 2025 Wimbledon women’s singles and won it without dropping a game.

The last Wimbledon single’s final that ended with a scoreline of 6-0, 6-0 was played in 1911. In the 1911 Wimbledon women’s singles final, the UK’s Dorothea Lambert Chambers defeated Dora Boothby 6–0, 6–0.
