The interaction wasn't their first meeting, as the pair had previously hit tennis balls together for fun before last year's French Open tournament.Swiatek's connection to "Friends" was also evident at her French Open victory last year, where she wore specially designed white sneakers. Her shoe sponsor had stenciled them with the words "The One Where She Wins Her Fifth Grand Slam" in capital letters, mimicking the typical episode titles of the TV show.
The championship at the All England Club adds to Swiatek's impressive career achievements, marking her sixth Grand Slam victory and first Wimbledon title.
