IIM-T welcomes new batch

Trichy: Indian Institute of Management Trichy (IIM-Trichy) welcomed its incoming batch with a series of events centred on community building and sustainability on Monday.Newly admitted students planted saplings to mark their entry into the institution.

Students, faculty members, staff and family members participated in a community breakfast.

The formal inauguration ceremony began with the rendition of Tamizh Thai Vaazhthu. Prof Satish S Maheswarappa, dean (academics) welcomed the students.Prof Godwin Tennyson, director (In-charge), guest of honour Arjun Beri, senior director, model risk management, BNY, chief guest Akshay Khanna, managing partner, AVASANT, spoke.
