VARANASI: In a significant push towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, the I-DAPT Hub Foundation of IIT (BHU), Varanasi, announced the launch of its Startup Incubation Programme.
The programme invites applications from tech startups focused on Data Analytics and Predictive Technologies (DAPT).Prof. Ram Sharan Singh, Project Director of I-DAPT Hub, said that the initiative is designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs in transforming their innovative ideas into successful business ventures. The programme offers access to critical resources, including office space, technical and legal support, market access, mentorship, and funding assistance of up to ₹20 lakhs.
He further stated that startups eligible for this support must be incorporated in India with a core focus on DAPT technologies.
Interested startups working on commercially viable products or services in the DAPT domain are encouraged to apply.Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Dean (Research & Development), said that this initiative is aligned with the national missions of Make in India, Viksit Bharat, and Atma Nirbhar Bharat. “Our goal is to develop a vibrant startup ecosystem in this region that empowers technopreneurs to create scalable, impactful solutions,” he said.
Prof. Amit Patra, Director, IIT (BHU), remarked, “At IIT (BHU), we are committed to nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the I-DAPT Hub Foundation, we aim to not only support startups with funding and mentorship but also to inspire them to build technologies that solve real-world challenges and contribute to the nation’s technological advancement.”The IDAPT-HUB Foundation is a Section 8 company and technology incubation centre established at IIT (BHU), Varanasi. It is dedicated to nurturing scientific and technological innovations and converting them into commercially viable and socially impactful products and services that contribute to regional and national economic development.
