Illegal liquor seized in Bokaro, two held

Bokaro: Two men were arrested with illegal liquor worth around Rs 1.5 lakh in a late-night raid near a railway crossing under Balidih police station limits of the district. DSP Pawan Kumar said the liquor was recovered from a hotel and a general store.

Two persons, identified as hotel manager Avinash Singh and store operator Suraj Kumar Singh, were taken into custody.The seized liquor included 264 bottles of various Indian-Made Foreign Liquor brands and 101 bottles and cans of beer. The accused failed to produce any valid documents or licence related to the seized liquor.
