Rona of the K-pop group ILY:1 made headlines after revealing how saesang fans have been stalking her and coming to her house. The idol shared a plea to the public to help her in the matter.Rona shared her experience with a saesang fan who has been bothering her and the group for quite some time. On July 8, the member took to a popular fan forum application to share her ordeal with fans. The idol shared that currently she has been undergoing a lot of stress lately due to a fan who has been stalking her and even obtained access to her phone number, address, and even came to visit her at her house. Rona also added that this individual has been leaking her information to other people as well and has been breaching her privacy and security.Her statement on the fan forum read, “I’ve always thought of Only:1 as truly close friends and family, so I shared my daily life with you all. I talked about good things, fun things, what I did today — everything”.“But I didn’t know that doing that would lead to my personal information leaking. People now know my phone number, where I live, our schedule… they even came to see me and found out personal details about me, and now they’re telling others…I’m really scared and don’t know what to do…I know I should always try to be careful with everything I say and do, so I’m really sorry that it ended up like this…” she continued.

She also requested that this kind of behaviour come to an end, as she and all of the members have been worried about their safety. She also issued an apology and shared, “It’s true that I should’ve been more careful, but I really hope this doesn’t happen again. I wish it would stop. Even if you did it out of affection, this isn’t right…I really love Korea, and I wanted to be here for a long time, but now Korea feels so scary. My hands are still shaking from fear… Because of this, I’m scared of growing distant from Only:1, too”.Fans have been showing concern over the matter, and have also been urging the idol’s management agency to take strict action against the saesang fans and anyone who has leaked her information as well.
