IND vs NZ 2nd T20 Match Date, Time: India face New Zealand in the 2nd T20I at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Friday. India lead the five-match series 1-0, having won the first T20I by 48 runs. Abhishek Sharma continued on his own merry way, blasting 84 off 35 balls while Rinku Singh and Hardik Pandya once again showed the devastating effect they have in the latter overs. Importantly for India, captain Suryakumar Yadav showed signs of rediscovering his touch in his 22-ball 32.
India have not lost a single T20I series since winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. With this series being the last before the 2026 T20 World Cup, they would be looking to keep that momentum going and complete a whopping 15th consecutive series win. They would also know that New Zealand will come back strong in all likelihood, as they did in the preceding ODI series in which the opening match was won by India as well. However, the Kiwis then won the second and third matches to complete their first ever ODI series win in India.
