India is prepared in case the trade deal with the United States is not to its satisfaction, government sources told News18.
According to government sources, India is looking to partner with those countries like Cambodia that got their tariff letters on Monday (July 7). They can be new potential markets for India as they are suffering.
The sources said India, however, is quite hopeful about a good deal with the US. But, it is also ready for a “no deal" situation especially when it comes to dairy and agricultural, as well as labour intensive products, they said. India, hence, is looking at new markets for new products to export like Doha.
