India’s 77th Republic Day Parade 2026, Flag Hosting Live Updates: Vande Mataram will reverberate through India’s Republic Day celebrations this time, with the Culture Ministry set to showcase a tablue titled ‘150 years of Vande Mataram’ at the parade. Also on display will be a series of paintings created by Tenjendra Kumar Mitra in 1923, illustrating the verse of ‘Vande Mataram’ published in ‘Bande Mataram Album’ (1923).
IAF fighter jets to fly in Op Sindoor formation: The fighter jets of the Indian Air Force will fly in a special ‘Operational Sindoor’ formation at the Republic Day this year, showcasing India’s militry might. The powerful formation of seven aircrafts will comprise two Rafeals, two Su-30s, two MiG-29s and Jagual aircraft, officials told The Indian Express.

Special invitees from UP: This Republic day, four transgender people from Uttar Pradesh are among the special guests. The four, Etkta Maheshwari, Deepika, Heer, and Ladoo are associated with the Garima Grih shelter in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakpur and will be travelling to the national capital on January 24.
