A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight carrying more than 150 passengers, including Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, aborted take-off at Lucknow airport on Saturday after a technical issue was detected, PTI reported quoting a source.

The aircraft, operating as flight 6E2111 from Lucknow to Delhi, was on the runway when the crew noticed the problem and decided to halt take-off. The plane was then taxied back to the bay, the source added.

IndiGo has not issued a statement on the incident.
