Infosys expands ExxonMobil partnership to improve data centres efficiency

Infosys has announced that it's expanding its collaboration with ExxonMobil to develop and deploy ExxonMobil Data Center Immersion Fluids. These fluids are designed to enhance energy efficiency and maximise the use of available power in data centres.

The initiative builds on Infosys' commitment to energy innovation, decarbonisation, and cross-industry partnerships, the company said in a statement.

How ExxonMobil fluids will improve efficiency of Infosys’ data centres

By using ExxonMobil Data Center Immersion Fluids, Infosys Topaz, and Infosys Cobalt, the collaboration will enable the development of cooling systems for AI and high-performance computing workloads. Infosys Topaz is an AI-first set of services using generative AI technologies, while Infosys Cobalt is a set of services and platforms for cloud migration.Infosys Topaz will enable real-time optimisation of cooling operations. This supports energy use management, predictive maintenance, and sustainable infrastructure. Infosys Cobalt will provide a foundation for deploying these solutions across cloud and data centre environments. It supports integration and operations for enterprise clients.Infosys will also focus on solutions for hyperscalers, global enterprises, and public sector organisations.

This includes industries like financial services, telecom, manufacturing, energy, and government.
