Jannik Sinner is not the kind of person who courts attention. On the court, he is focused, composed and deliberate. Off it, he is about as private as a global superstar can reasonably be in 2026.
But when you are the world No. 1 in men's tennis with Grand Slam titles, a growing sponsorship portfolio and a fan base that spans continents, people are going to be curious about more than just your backhand. Over the past few years, Sinner's personal life has made headlines almost as often as his tennis and the story has had plenty of twists along the way.
Jannik Sinner's love story with Anna Kalinskaya
Jannik Sinner confirmed he was dating fellow professional Anna Kalinskaya in May 2024, making them one of the most high-profile couples on the tennis circuit almost immediately.
When asked about it, his said, "Yes, I'm with Anna, but we keep everything very confidential. I won't say more."Keeping things confidential turned out to be easier said than done. Kalinskaya was spotted courtside at various matches throughout Sinner's 2024 season and he returned the favor at hers. They were seen together at Wimbledon, the French Open and the US Open, where Sinner celebrated his title win with her on court. It was one of those rare moments where his guard came down completely.
Around that time, Sinner also opened up about the challenges of balancing tennis with a relationship. Speaking to Vanity Fair Italia, he said, "Of course, it's not easy, I travel a lot and during tournaments, I'm very focused. But I think it's a beautiful thing when you find the right love. Like for everyone. And then, if you think about it, the best tennis players in the world all have wives and children."It did not last. By November 2024, the pair had stopped following each other on social media and were no longer appearing at each other's matches.
Sinner officially confirmed he was single at a press conference during the Italian Open in May 2025.
Laila Hasanovic and the viral Vienna Open moment
The next chapter in his dating life arrived in the form of Laila Hasanovic, a Danish model and content creator with Bosnian heritage who had previously been in a relationship with F1 driver Mick Schumacher. A finalist at Miss Denmark 2019, she has since built a strong following across Instagram and TikTok and has collaborated with luxury brands including Armani Beauty and Prada Beauty. The rumors started building through the summer of 2025. Hawk-eyed fans spotted Hasanovic as the screensaver on Sinner's phone during US Open television coverage and she had been seen at several of his matches. Sinner played coy for months, telling reporters at one point, "Also, off the court, I was surprised to see some pictures, which, nothing serious. I'm not in a relationship."But the truth came out eventually. Sinner officially confirmed the romance during his winning speech at the Vienna Open in October 2025. And when an Italian outlet pressed him with a direct question about whether he was in love, his answer was simple and typically Sinner, "Yes, but we don't talk about our private life."As of early 2026, the couple has been spotted regularly together in Monaco, where they reportedly share an apartment.
