Oliver Rowland is a busy man during the month-long break, as he spends time with his wife and kids, focuses on the construction of his new house, catches up with friends, and stays in touch with his protege Arvid Lindblad as the latter gears up for his Formula One debut.
Rowland has shared several pictorial glimpses from his personal life, giving fans a look at how he has been spending his time lately. Fans were impressed with how the reigning Formula E champion successfully juggles his many responsibilities.
Oliver Rowland balances family life, new home project, and Arvid Lindblad mentorship
Oliver Rowland shared a series of pictures on Instagram and wrote: “Life in and out of the paddock recently. Next stop.” He was hinting at Round 6 in Madrid, scheduled for March 21.The first picture shows Rowland on the podium alongside his daughter, Harper. The four-year-old has been joining the Nissan driver on the podium quite frequently. There is also an adorable photo of his three-month-old baby boy, Hennie, and a family picture of Rowland with his wife Lauren and their two children. Other photos show Rowland closely overseeing the construction of his new house, a project he has been personally monitoring.
There is also a trackside picture of Rowland with Lindblad, who is set to make his F1 debut with Racing Bulls. Rowland is expected to support him actively during the first half of the F1 season starting next month. Another picture shows Rowland with popular TikToker Khaby Lame, who drove his Nissan car during the recently held Formula E Evo Session in Jeddah.Fellow Formula E drivers Sebastien Buemi and Nick Cassidy liked his post, while the official Formula E page called him “Champ” in the comments section.
Reacting to his post, one fan wrote: “Awww, your little family.”Rowland’s wife, Lauren Rowland, also shared their family picture on her Instagram Stories recently.
Oliver Rowland defends his Formula E title this season
Oliver Rowland won the Formula E World Championship last season. He continues to perform well this year and is currently third in the Drivers’ Standings. He has secured three podiums in five races and has 49 points but is yet to claim his first win of the season.
