Inspector felicitated by rowdy sheeter at police station in Bengaluru, probe ordered after video goes viral

The North Division Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) has ordered a probe after a video allegedly showing an inspector being felicitated by a rowdy-sheeter at the R.T. Nagar police station in Bengaluru went viral on social media.

“I have told the ACP to conduct a detailed probe into the incident and submit a report, based on which necessary action will be taken,” said DCP (North) B.S. Nemagoud.
