New Delhi: Insta360’s upcoming action camera has just cleared a major regulatory hurdle in the United States, which usually means that the global debut isn’t far off. Insta360’s upcoming X6 has recently earned FCC certification under the model number CINSABXA.

The paperwork includes details on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and antennas, indicating the process is largely complete. This also follows similar approvals in places like the UAE and India.

Insta360 X6 leaks suggested that to step up to a larger 1-inch or 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor, which might let it shoot 8K 60fps 360-degree video, an update from the Insta360 X5. It gets 10-bit color depth and improved HDR, which should translate to richer, more vibrant footage, especially in tricky low-light or nighttime situations.

However, the pricing is expected to land somewhere between $549 and $599 (roughly Rs 52,343 and Rs 57,110), by keeping it in the premium 360-camera category.

Insta360 has built a strong reputation for making a powerful yet user-friendly panoramic camera, with excellent stabilization, waterproofing, and a smooth application experience, while aiming to improve image quality.
