The Director of the Board of Intermediate Education, Ranjith Basha, paid a surprise visit to the Government Girls’ Junior College at Chandragiri on Friday and commended the Principal and staff for identifying and nurturing talented students, describing them as “hidden gems”.
He interacted with students in their classrooms, discussed various academic issues and reviewed the college’s performance in the Intermediate examinations. He analysed the results and suggested measures to improve academic outcomes further.
Mr. Basha also inspected the laboratories, library, playground and hostel facilities.
Expressing satisfaction over the college’s progress, he said it was emerging as a model institution in the district. He noted that the college had achieved results comparable to those of private institutions and assured the management of the government’s support, including additional funds to strengthen infrastructure and improve student amenities.
District Supervising Officer G. Rajashekara Reddy, Principal K. Venkata Chalapathi and members of the teaching staff were present.
