Iran-Israel War News Live: The Iran war has sharply escalated with direct US and Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory missile attacks across Israel and Gulf states. The conflict between Iran and Israel entered its 20th day on Thursday, with both sides intensifying military operations. The conflict was fueled after Iran’s South Pars gas field, one of the world’s largest, was attacked by Israeli forces.
In retaliation, Tehran struck Qatar and fired missiles at Saudi Arabia after vowing attacks on oil and gas targets throughout the Gulf. Qatar’s state oil giant QatarEnergy reported “extensive damage” at the Ras Laffan Industrial City after an Iranian missile attack.

As conflict in West Asia continues to escalate, Iran’s national security chief Ali Larijani, top commander of the IRGC’s Basij force, Gholamreza Soleimani, and Iranian intelligence minister Esmail Khatib were killed in an Israeli airstrike.
According to Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, the US-Israeli attacks on Iran have killed more than 1,300 people, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top Iranian officials.
The US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has warned that the toll may be even higher, estimating at least 1,858 people have been killed, including both civilians and military personnel.
