US-Israel-Iran War Latest News Updates Today: US President Donald Trump on Monday warned that Iran’s critical energy facilities and other major infrastructure — including desalination plants that supply drinking water — could face large-scale destruction if an agreement to end the conflict is not reached soon. At the same time, Iran launched strikes targeting key sites in the region. A major water and electricity facility in Kuwait was hit, while an oil refinery in Israel also came under attack. In another incident, a drone struck a Kuwaiti oil tanker in waters off Dubai, sparking a fire that authorities were working to contain early Tuesday, according to the Dubai Media Office.

The latest developments came as the United States and Israel carried out a fresh round of airstrikes inside Iran, with the conflict showing no immediate signs of easing. Trump issued his warning through a post on social media. According to media reports, he suggested that US forces could potentially take control of Iran’s Kharg Island — the country’s main oil export terminal. While Trump has repeatedly said diplomatic efforts are underway, Tehran insists that it is not engaged in direct negotiations. Meanwhile, Washington has continued deploying thousands of additional troops to the Middle East.

The ongoing Iran–US–Israel conflict, which began on February 28 under the military campaign known as Operation Epic Fury, has now entered its second month. The war escalated sharply after early strikes killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and fighting has since spread across multiple parts of the region.

Attempts to broker peace have so far stalled. Trump recently outlined a 15-point proposal aimed at ending the war, but Iran rejected the plan and instead presented five demands. These include compensation for damages caused by the conflict, the removal of sanctions, and international recognition of its sovereignty over the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

According to Iran’s health ministry, the death toll from US and Israeli attacks has now exceeded 2,000. Efforts to revive negotiations remain at an impasse as the conflict continues to intensify.
