Iran’s Revolutionary Guards on Tuesday said that they had launched missile attacks targeting Israeli air bases, which they say have been used to strike the Islamic Republic as tensions continue to soar in the between the two nations.

The Revolutionary Guards also claimed the air bases were the launch points for Israeli fighter jets attacking Iran.

Alongside the missile strikes, Iran’s armed forces issued a warning urging residents in major Israeli cities to evacuate immediately. This move heightens fears of further escalation between the two countries, as tensions continue to soar in the region.

“In the new wave of attacks, a large-scale missile operation was carried out against the air bases of the Zionist regime’s army, which are the bases from which the regime’s fighter jets take off towards our beloved country," the Guards said in a statement broadcast on Iranian state television.

The latest attacks come amid ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, with both sides exchanging missile and drone strikes in recent days.
