The recently released 'Lokah', starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, left audiences with more questions than answers. The post-credit scene, which featured Tovino Thomas in a goblin-like avatar, sparked intense fan theories about a possible crossover with his much-talked-about fantasy film 'Ajayante Randam Moshanam' (ARM).

In the scene, Tovino’s character Chathan is interrogated about a disastrous archaeological dig.

He remarks, “It could be me... or one of my 389 siblings. We all look alike.”The dialogue and Tovino's appearance immediately ignited speculation that Lokah’s universe could be connected to ARM, especially since both films ended on ambiguous notes.

Fan theories for 'Lokah' and deleted scenes

Director Jithin Laal recently marked ARM’s first anniversary by sharing a deleted scene featuring Tovino’s character Manian.

Under the post, one fan directly raised the crossover question, linking the timing of the post to earlier hints about a “secret” reveal. The fan wrote, "A secret reveal for 'Lokah' was said to be there on 6 pm. Now you have shared an ARM post one or 2 hours before it. Is ARM and Lokah connected?."

Tovino’s clarification

However, Tovino Thomas has now stepped in to clear the air. Responding to a fan on Instagram who asked, “Is ARM and Lokah connected?”, the actor wrote plainly, “Not at all.

They are from different universes.” While his comment may have been delivered with his usual playful tone, it effectively confirmed that both films stand alone.

Recently Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas' characters Odiyan and Chathan were unveiled officially by the makers.
