Fans online claimed the boy, Lincoln Feltwell, was Elliott’s nephew.

They even shared a fake quote. But no proof exists. Elliott has no link to the Feltwell family.

After the Phillies game, a post on Facebook claimed Elliott reacted to the clip. The post said he called the boy his nephew. It also quoted him saying, “In Philly, we stand up for our kids.” That quote is not real.No trusted news outlet reported it. Jake Elliott never spoke about the moment.

Late August 2024 saw the event, when the Phillies faced the Marlins at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Captured on video, grabbing a home run ball from Lincoln Feltwell, who was celebrating his birthday, a fan seated in the left-field stands, later known as "Phillies Karen,"

The video swiftly became popular and set off fury. Lincoln's day was not terrible even though the moment was agonizing.
