A bomb threat email sent to the headquarters of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Bengaluru on Thursday triggered an extensive security operation, prompting authorities to evacuate the premises as a precaution.

Police personnel, along with the Dog Squad and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), rushed to the ISRO headquarters after officials received the threat email. All staff were evacuated while security teams conducted a thorough search of the building.

Officials said they took the threat seriously and launched a comprehensive search operation. However, the teams did not find any suspicious objects during the exercise. A senior police officer later confirmed that the threat was declared a hoax.
