“It feels good”- Tyrese Haliburton attends Indiana Pacers Summer League practice sessions

Despite recovering from his torn Achilles injury, Tyrese Haliburton has been diverting the media with his on and off social media presence. After being down with a torn Achilles in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals, Haliburton underwent surgery.

The NBA star was recently spotted watching his fellow teammates during the Indiana Pacers Summer League practice session at Ascension St. Vincent Center on Friday.

Tyrese Haliburton indirectly joins the Indiana Pacers Summer League Practice session

Tyrese Haliburton is a true sportsman, and this was quite evident during Game 7 of 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Recently, he was spotted indirectly joining the Indiana Pacers ongoing Summer League practice session. He was sidelined, wearing a protective boot that extended just below his knee.

Despite being unable to play, he made an appearance at the first two practices, earning praise from Summer League coach Isaac Yacob for his presence and for taking the time to speak with the team.The two-time NBA All-Star even penned an emotional message for his fans and followers on Instagram, updating them about his torn Achilles injury and promising to return stronger. The post mentioned"Now that I’ve gotten surgery, I wish I could count the number of times people will tell me I’m going to “come back stronger.”

What a cliché, lol. This (expletive) sucks. My foot feels like dead weight, fam. But what’s hurting me the most is my mind.”

The Pacers’ star further added,“I feel like I’m rambling, but I know this is something I’ll look back on when I’m through this, as something I’m proud I fought through. It feels good to let this (expletive) out without y’all seeing the kid ugly cry."During the ongoing NBA offseason, the Indiana Pacers went on to rope in Taelon Peter in the second round of the 2025 NBA draft. He was also invited for the practice session with experienced Pacers ’players. Reportedly, Taelon Peter and Kam Jones were new faces in the recently announced roster of Indiana Pacers.
