Steve Kerr may have just coached his final game for the Golden State Warriors, and the signs are getting harder to ignore.

And now, Draymond Green has added fuel to the fire.

Speaking on The Draymond Green Show, the former All-Star didn’t sugarcoat it.

“I hope he’s our coach next season… You want my opinion? I think not. Just because it feels like that. It felt like that was it."

Kerr’s Candid Moment Said It All

If there was any doubt, Kerr’s postgame moment after the Warriors’ loss to the Suns this past weekend in the play-in tournament might’ve erased it.

As the final buzzer sounded, he pulled Stephen Curry and Green in close for an emotional, lingering embrace that said more than words could.

Then came the line that’s now echoing across the league:

“I don’t know what’s gonna happen next, but I love you guys to death. Thank you."

A Dynasty That Changed the Game

Let’s not forget what Kerr built.

Since taking over in 2014, he’s been the architect of one of the greatest runs in NBA history.

Alongside Curry and Green, he revolutioned the way modern basketball is played, and found monumental success along the way — winning 4 NBA championships and reaching 6 NBA Finals.

Reality Check: What Comes Next?

But dynasties don’t last forever. Kerr’s contract remains unresolved. The core is aging. And for the first time in over a decade, the Warriors aren’t guaranteed contenders.

Kerr himself acknowledged the uncertainty.

“These jobs all have an expiration date… It may still go on. It may not. But we all need to step away a little bit and then reconvene."

That sure sounds like someone weighing whether the ride is over.
