Reacting to the filmmaker’s statement, Radhikka admitted that the moment was emotional for her. As quoted by Hindustan Times, she said, "When I first read that, I was almost teary-eyed because when you come into this industry, you need to make a mark for yourself, and you want to be noticed by these veteran, legendary filmmakers. When you get that kind of acknowledgement and support, and if somebody like him feels for you, takes your side, or gives a voice to whatever you have been feeling for so many years, it just means a lot.

" She further added, "When you get that kind of acknowledgement… it just means a lot. It fuels the passion that I have for my work. I want to work even harder now and be even more hungry… that is enough for me."

Radhika Madan speaks on opportunities in Bollywood

When asked if she feels she hasn’t received the right opportunities, Radhikka offered a balanced perspective as she explained that such feelings are common among actors. She shared that she has not met anyone in Bollywood who feels completely satisfied with their journey. According to her, there is always a sense of wanting more, be it better roles or collaborations.Her recent role in Subedaar, where she starred alongside Anil Kapoor, received wide praise from the audiences.
