J-Hope performs at PSY’s concert; sparks protests from fans over comment - Deets inside

J-Hope from BTS recently featured in one of PSY’s latest concerts as a guest performer! The idol performed some of his and BTS’ most famous songs, citing cheers of excitement from the crowd.

During his talking segment, however, J-Hope made a comment about his popularity that made fans start protesting.

J-Hope's unlikely comment causes a stir in the audience

BTS J-Hope featured on the ‘PSY’s SUMMER SWAG 2025’ concert, and performed as a surprise guest! The idol exuded a powerful energy as he got on stage and performed one of the group’s most famed and popular songs, ‘Mic Drop’. Not only that, but he also showcased his talent by performing his latest release ‘Killin’ It Girl’, along with ‘Outro: Ego’ as well!A moment during the concert, however, incited reactions from the fans.

J-Hope, while on stage, implied that he wasn’t sure if the concert’s attendees were aware of who he was or not. In videos of the concert shared online, the idol can be seen saying, “Because you might know BTS well, but when it's about knowing who the members are”.

Attendees of the concert loudly protested the member’s comment and invited an ‘eyyyy’ reaction in disbelief at his words. Fans at the concert protested and called the idol out in disbelief over how he was unaware of his popularity.
