The J&K Police cyber cell filed a case against certain individuals on Thursday (April 30, 2026) over the dissemination of secessionist propaganda “aimed at disturbing public peace and national integrity”.

According to the police, there was a “prima facie cognizable offence” punishable under Sections 152, 196(1), and 353(1)(b), (c), and (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
