Work is worship for Jacksonville Jaguars star quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Why? Because the headline gave away the reason. On January 4, 2025, Lawrence and his beautiful wife, Marissa, announced that they had welcomed a baby girl into the world.
And just a day later, Lawrence played the last match of the 2024 NFL season against the Indianapolis Colts and lost it by a devastating score of 26-23! However, this loss was so impactful that he took it as a lesson for the 2025 NFL season. Five months later, he continues to work hard to prove himself with utmost charm. Lawrence is gearing up like no other QB. His head coach Liam Coen sees it every single day and admires the way Lawrence takes home work even though his baby girl, Shae Lynn, is just a mere 5 months old.

Former Kentucky’s quarterbacks coach Liam Coen has been in awe of the 2021 NFL draft first-round 1st overall pick Trevor Lawrence since Day 1. So much so that he showered his praises for the QB on The Pat McAfee Show on June 12. Coen said, “Man, this guy has leaned into everything that we’ve tried to coach since getting there. From the moment that we arrived - it was, man, how much time can I put into this thing? All throughout all the Phases - Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, you know, calling the plays, you know, multiple play calls, checks, protections - this guy has been up here, been in the building as much as possible, taken the work home with him, even though he has got a new baby at home - he is working his tail off.”
Ex-Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator Liam Coen calls Archie Griffin Award recipient Trevor Lawrence a natural thrower of football
Former LA Rams OC Liam Coen says 25-year-old Cartersville alumnus Trevor Lawrence throws the NFL Duke exactly where he needs to, “You see him out there, and he is a natural thrower of the football. I mean, he can put the ball in places where he wants it to be. And now, it is just about - hey, how we can play at a consistently high-level game in and game out and also help him.
We’ve got to improve the run game to be able to create a little bit more balance so that every throw isn’t the biggest throw of the game.
And then be able to turn the ball over on the defensive side of the ball to help him as well.”
Liam Coen is really impressed by Trevor Lawrence’s work ethic, recall, and attention to detail
The first-time head coach for an NFL Team, Liam Coen, is trying so hard to change what an unnamed NFC executive said about Trevor Lawrence back in September 2024 - “You want to fall in love with him one day and divorce him the next,” as reported by Michael DiRocco of ESPN.
The newest Jagaurs HC concludes by saying, “Man, been really impressed with his work ethic, his recall, his attention to detail. And he’s doing everything we’ve asked so far, and see nothing but good things for him moving forward.”Also Read: Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders features in The Making of a Heart Attack after suffering from a health scare on Father’s Day last year | NFL News - Times of India
