Jana Sena Party’s (JSP) Srikakulam District President Pisini Chandra Mohan, Srikakulam Urban Development Authority chairman Korikana Ravikumar on Wednesday alleged that former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is responsible for the death of YSRCP sympathiser Singaiah, who was run over by a vehicle in which Mr. Jagan was present during his Sattenapalli tour in the last week.
Addressing the media at a press conference in Srikakulam, Mr. Chandra Mohan alleged that the mobilisation of huge crowds, in spite of objections from the police department was the cause of the untimely death of Mr. Singayya.
Mr. Ravikumar alleged that the demonstration of political strength has led to the death of many persons during Mr. Jagan’s public tours in different parts of the State.
JSP Srikakulam District General Secretary Dantei Sridhar, a doctor by profession, said that Mr. Singayya could have been saved if he had been taken to the hospital quickly on that day. Also present were JSP leaders Patruni Paparao, Konda Uday Shannkar, and Guruprasad.
