Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra 2025: Witness the divine journey of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra as the grand Rath Yatra rolls through the holy city of Puri on today on Friday, June 27, 2025. Lakhs of devotees gather each year to pull the massive, ornately decorated chariots carrying the deities from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple, a sacred ritual symbolizing the Lord’s annual visit to His aunt’s home.

President Murmu, PM Modi Extend Greetings on Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra

On the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra, President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed their heartfelt greetings to devotees of Lord Jagannath across India and worldwide.

President Murmu shared on X, “On the occasion of the sacred Rath Yatra, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the devotees of Lord Jagannath residing in India and abroad. Millions of devotees attain a divine experience by having the darshan of the revered deities—Balabhadra, Lord Shri Jagannath, Goddess Subhadra, and Chakraraj Sudarshan—seated on the chariot. The human-like divine play of these godly forms is the speciality of the Rath Yatra. On this auspicious occasion, my prayer to Lord Shri Jagannath is that an atmosphere of peace, friendship, and affection prevails throughout the world."
