External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Friday began his engagements at the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2026 by participating in a roundtable discussion titled ‘Delhi Decides: Mapping India’s Policy Calculus’, hosted by Ananta Aspen.

Sharing details of the interaction, Jaishankar emphasised the need for India to adopt a nimble and dynamic foreign policy to navigate an increasingly multipolar world order.

He highlighted that shifting global power equations and evolving geopolitical alignments require flexibility and strategic clarity in policymaking.

During the discussion, Jaishankar also underscored the importance of strengthening economic partnerships, noting the significance of the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the India-US trade deal in advancing India’s global engagement.

The roundtable brought together policymakers, strategic experts and international participants to deliberate on India’s foreign policy priorities amid global uncertainties.
