Jangareddygudem man sentenced to 20 years for assault of minor girl

An accused person Shaik Ibrahim(45) Jangareddygudem village and mandal was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Eluru district. The accused, who used to run medical shop in Salipeta, Jangareddygudem, lured the victim girl by offering eateries and snacks, during her en-route of school and tuition center. By doing so, the accused committed penetrative sexual assault upon the victim girl for multiple times prior to Feb 6, 2024. Sensing fishy about late arrival from school, her grandmother questioned and figured out the sordid act of the accused from the victim girl. Followed by it, a case was registered in Jangareddygudem Police Station under sections 354A 376(2)(n) 376AB IPC AND SEC. 6 OF POCSO ACT.
