Janhvi Kapoor turns heritage into haute couture, serves old-school charm in a green lehenga

Janhvi Kapoor seems to have taken her Param Sundari character to heart and we are not complaining. She’s serving back-to-back looks that channel her South Indian roots like a pro, stepping out in ensembles that echo her on-screen persona as a traditional yet modern homestay owner in Kochi.

For one of her promotional stints in Jaipur, she donned a stunning flared green contemporary lehenga by Anushree Reddy, a deliberate nod to heritage silhouettes. The diaphanous skirt, scattered with jewel-toned floral prints, bloomed beautifully against the lush green base.

The attached blouse was a statement in itself, featuring cut-out floral appliqué petals, each meticulously stitched and embroidered to create mystical depth and dimension.

The unconventional backless design, secured with a slender dori, added a sultry edge to the look.Skipping the expected dupatta, Janhvi balanced the floral set with a striking array of oxidised silver jewellery from Sheetal Zaveri. The Rahi ear cuff, adorned with Kamdenu and parrot motifs, became the focal point of the ensemble. She stacked matching bracelets that echoed the avian detailing and added structured flair.

To complete the set, she chose a Radhe ring embellished with kundan and pearls, seamlessly tying the look together. Her makeup featured an illuminating base, soft smoky eyes, blushed cheeks, and bold berry lips, a perfect harmony of tradition and modernity.Further amplifying the drama, she styled her hair in a centre-parted look, letting soft waves cascade down her back. With every movement, the billowy skirt and couture blouse came alive, the silver accents catching the light just right.
