A JCB driver in Jodhpur’s Bhawi village allegedly tried to run over women protesting against an overflowing pond, sparking panic and outrage. The incident was caught on camera.

The driver of a JCB vehicle allegedly attempted to run over a group of women in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, thus leading to outrage in the district. The incident happened while a group of locals were protesting over an overflowing pond in the Bhawi village.

The incident happened while a team from the administration had visited the spot to hold an inspection of the pond. Those from the team included a Tehsildar and police personnel.

While the inspection was underway, tensions escalated as the JCB, present at the spot, suddenly lurched forward in the direction of the women who were protesting.

A video of the incident was caught on camera, which showed a group of women standing on the road in front of the JCB.

Moments later, the heavy machine accelerates toward them. Panic breaks out as the women scream and scatter in different directions to save themselves.

Some stumble while others narrowly escape being crushed under the vehicle’s wheels.

Later, the villagers accused the JCB driver of deliberately attempting to mow down the women, as they argued with the team that visited the spot.

There was no official confirmation on whether there was an action against the driver in the case.
