In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shreyas recalled meeting director Subhash Kapoor, who narrated a story to him. At that time, Talpade was busy with other commitments, so the project did not move forward.
Years later, after watching ‘Jolly LLB,’ he immediately called Kapoor to congratulate him. He told him that it was a lovely film and he simply loved it. Kapoor laughed and reminded Talpade that he had originally brought the film to him.
Talpade said he remembered meeting Kapoor but did not think it was the same film. Kapoor clarified that it was, although some changes were made; the story was essentially the same.Shreyas's reaction to missing the roleShreyas further recalled, “I was shocked when he told me the whole thing.
