Josh Duhamel lists Los Angeles bachelor pad for nearly USD 3 million years after Fergie split

Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel has put his bachelor pad in Los Angeles' Encino neighbourhood on the market for just under USD 3 million, nearly eight years after buying it following his split from singer Fergie.According to Robb Report, the Transformers star purchased the home in late 2017 for about USD 2.7 million around the time he and Fergie separated. The property was later available for rent at USD 15,000 per month before being listed for sale at nearly USD 3 million, around USD 345,000 more than its original purchase price.Built in the 1960s and extensively renovated over the years, the gated single-storey residence sits on a little over one-third of an acre.

It offers around 3,300 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room.

The home features blonde hardwood floors, skylights and high pitched ceilings. Its open-plan layout includes a spacious great room with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading to a large wooden deck, a formal dining area, a living room with a fireplace and a modern kitchen fitted with Caesarstone countertops, a large island and Thermador appliances.

An adjoining lounge includes built-in banquette seating and an entertainment centre.

Home received a makeover in 2023

The primary suite was renovated in 2023 as part of Duhamel's Amazon Freevee reality series Hollywood Houselift. Celebrity designer Jeff Lewis redesigned the space with direct backyard access, two walk-in closets, a built-in vanity, illuminated shelving, a soaking tub and a stone-and-glass steam shower.

The resort-style backyard features a swimming pool, a spillover spa, a pergola-covered dining area, a standalone barrel sauna, a fire pit and a barbecue station, all overlooking canyon and mountain views.

Duhamel, 53, married model Audra Mari in 2022. The North Dakota native rose to fame with the NBC drama Las Vegas before starring in the Transformers film franchise. He is currently seen in the Netflix western drama series Ransom Canyon, whose second season is scheduled to premiere on July 23.
