Joshi tunes into ‘Mann Ki Baat’, launches health van

Hubballi: Union minister Pralhad Joshi on Sunday listened to Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat radio programme organised by the Rotary Club (RID 3170) and launched “Health on Wheels”, a mobile diagnostic van, at Gymkhana Maidan in Hubballi.Addressing the gathering, Joshi said Mann Ki Baat has become a popular programme on Akashvani (All India Radio). He said the Prime Minister’s words reflect positive changes across the country and the achievements of citizens. The programme has emerged as a successful platform for direct communication with people and highlights the country’s progress.He said the themes in this edition included local innovations, environmental protection, agriculture, education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, skill development and public participation in building a developed India. He noted that the Prime Minister’s approach of recognising grassroots talent and showcasing it nationally has inspired citizens.Joshi said the mobile health service, launched with the motto ‘Healthcare at your doorstep’, will help deliver essential check-ups and services to people in rural and remote areas, benefiting vulnerable sections.
