Fox Sports also faced another legal case from former reporter Julie Stewart-Binks, compounding its troubles.

Industry insiders say Joy Taylor’s association with Charlie Dixon, a senior FS1 executive named in one suit, made her position untenable. Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley reportedly said FS1 let Joy Taylor go to distance itself from further controversy.

He told No Chill Gil that he’s been exploring a football-based show and sees Joy Taylor as an ideal co-host. Gilbert Arenas said “She’s a great host… we’ve been behind the scenes talking to her for the last year.” With Joy Taylor’s broadcast skills and the potential support of former players like Keyshawn Johnson or Shady McCoy, the new project could deliver polished football content and appeal to a wide sports audience.Now out of FS1, Joy Taylor is being courted for new work off traditional network platforms. A move to a football-focused show alongside Gilbert Arenas and possibly NFL stars, would suit her expertise and reputation.
