JPMorgan Chase's executive Lorna Hajdini (L) was accused of sexual abuse by her colleague Chirayu Rana (R).

Following explosive allegations of sexual harassment that have rocked JPMorgan Chase on New York’s Wall Street, Lorna Hajdini, an executive director in the bank’s leveraged finance division, has pushed back against claims made by a 35-year-old employee, Chirayu Rana, who accused her of engaging in “non-consensual and humiliating sex acts."

Rana levelled staggering allegations against Lorna Hajdini, 37, in a lawsuit at New York County Supreme Court, filed under the pseudonym ‘John Doe’, accusing her of subjecting him to sexual abuse, allegedly drugging him with Rohypnol and Viagra, and threatening to slash his year-end bonus if he did not comply.

The Daily Mail reported, citing a now-retracted court document, that Hajdini turned up unannounced at Rana’s apartment and forced him to have sex. However, Hajdini has strongly denied the allegations through her lawyers.

“Lorna categorically denies the allegations. She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place," her lawyers told the New York Post.

Rana claimed the alleged coercion began in the spring of 2024, when Hajdini began making inappropriate sexual conduct. The lawsuit highlights a pattern of racial abuse, with Hajdini allegedly calling him “my little brown boy" while propositioning him.

Some of the explosive words allegedly mentioned in the plaintiff were “You’re gonna need to earn it, my little Arab boy toy", “You really think [management]… want some Brown boy Indian leading Originations?… If you don’t f*** my brains out tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion", “I’m going to ruin you, I f***ing own you."

However, the allegations have not been proven and remain contested. People familiar with the matter told NY Post that Hajdini reported to managing director Brandon Graffeo, while Rana was supervised by another managing director, Jon Wolter, which meant that Hajdini had no sway on Rana’s job.

“He has tarnished her with a complete fabrication," said one of Hajdini’s friends.
