Junior Andre has shared a surprising story from his childhood that changed his life path early on. The 20-year-old said his mum, Katie Price, once told him he was “not good enough” to become a professional footballer, even after he got scouted by clubs.

Junior Andre was speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast, where he opened up about how close he came to chasing football seriously. He explained that he had trials with Millwall and even trained with top clubs like Chelsea and Brighton when he was younger. At that time, he played football every week and really loved it. But one honest moment from his mum made him rethink everything. Now, Junior Andre is focused on music and acting.

He recently made his acting debut and continues to build his career in entertainment.

Junior Andre said the moment till date stays with him. He shared, “My mum crushed my dreams.” He then explained how Katie Price watched him play one day and gave him a very direct opinion.“She watched me play once and she says, ‘Junior, let’s be real, you’re not gonna be a footballer. You’re not good enough. Don’t worry, you’re gonna be an entertainer’.”

Even though it sounded harsh, Junior Andre said he already had other interests too. He added, “But, also, equally, I wanted to be a musician and actor.”Looking back, he admitted football was not his strongest skill. “But I was never actually really that good, I was just above average,” he said.Junior Andre also spoke about his journey outside football. This month, he made his acting debut in Finding My Voice, where he stars with his father Peter Andre and actress Michelle Ryan.

At the same time, he is working on new music.Things were not always easy for him. He revealed that he worked a night job on the London Underground while dealing with issues with his record label. He said, “I found a night job basically just working on the London underground, grafting, lifting heavy metals, cutting, filing, painting.” His sister Princess Andre praised his effort, saying she is proud that he worked hard and stayed independent while chasing his dreams.
