Kaka Karkhanis was a committed social reformer, says scholar

Ganesh Govinda Karkhanis, who was fondly called Kaka Karkhanis, was a committed Gandhian and social reformer. His work of educating Dalits and Devadasis is a model for all humanity, scholar Krishna Kolhar Kulkarni said in Vijayapura on Monday (April 13).

He was speaking at a session on honouring the memory of Kaka Karkhanis at the Buddha Basava Babasaheb Book fair. Several former inmates of the Kaka Karkhanis hostel and current inmates participated in the event.
