Jose, Kalamkaval features Mammootty in a commanding antagonist role, supported by Vinayakan, Gayatri Arun, Rajisha Vijayan, and Gibin Gopinath. ETimes gave the movie a rating of 3 stars out of 5 and our review reads, "Mammootty remains the film’s biggest asset, delivering a performance sharpened by stillness and cold precision.
Vinayakan matches him with a brooding, tightly coiled presence, though the screenplay could have offered him more depth.
Despite strong performances, the uneven momentum prevents Kalamkaval from fully blooming into the gripping crime drama it aims to be."DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
