Kalyana Kranti continues to be relevant to modern society: Eshwar Khandre

The social transformation led by 12th century reformer Basaveshwara during Kalyana Kranti continues to hold strong relevance in contemporary society, Forest, Ecology and Environment Minister and district in-charge Eshwar Khandre said in Bidar on Monday.

He was speaking after inaugurating Basava Jayanti celebrations organised jointly by the district administration, the Zilla Panchayat, the city corporation and the Department of Kannada and Culture at Dr. Channabasava Pattadevaru Rangamandir there.
