Karan Johar calls Dhurandhar 'OUTSTANDING', praises Ranveer Singh’s performance and Aditya Dhar’s craft

Karan Johar has become the latest big Bollywood name to celebrate the phenomenal success of 'Dhurandhar'.The filmmaker took to Instagram Stories and shared high praise for both Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar. Writing in his signature enthusiastic style, Karan said, “OUTSTANDING!!! So much respect for Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh, Sashwat Sachdeva (my favourite @ranveersingh performance).

”He also extended wishes to the entire team, adding, “Congratulations to the entire cast and crew and to @officialjiostudios.”

Karan’s reaction follows a string of glowing reviews from top stars. Just a day earlier, Akshay Kumar took to X after watching Dhurandhar and shared how deeply the film impacted him. He wrote, “Watched Dhurandhar and I'm blown away. What a gripping tale and you've simply nailed it @AdityaDharFilms. We need our stories to be told in a hard-hitting way and I'm so glad the audiences are giving the film all the love it deserves.”Deepika Padukone

Film’s impact grows

Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari, a spy navigating the dangerous underworld of Lyari, Pakistan. Featuring a powerful ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, the film has earned acclaim for its intense storytelling, performances and scale. The movie was release on December 5 and with no major releases ahead, 'Dhurandhar' is expected to mint more numbers at the box office.
