‘It’s been tough and scary experience, but I feel blessed’

Karishma Sharma, known for Ragini MMS Returns and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, met with an accident on Wednesday while travelling by local train in Mumbai. Dressed in a sari and heading for a shoot at Churchgate, she panicked when her friends couldn’t catch the moving train and jumped off.

The fall left her with a swollen head, back injury and several bruises, forcing her to be rushed to the hospital.

‘I’ve been in pain, but staying strong’

Sharing her ordeal on Instagram, Karishma revealed that doctors kept her under observation after an MRI to ensure her head injury wasn’t severe. “I’ve injured my back, my head is swollen, and I’m covered in bruises… I’ve been in pain since yesterday, but I’m staying strong. Please keep me in your prayers for a speedy recovery,” she wrote.

‘Finally been discharged’

The actress has now been discharged after treatment and shared an emotional update on Instagram Stories. “Hey guys, I just wanted to share that I’ve finally been discharged from the hospital. The doctor told me that, thankfully, the injury isn’t too deep, but I will still feel some pain for a while as I recover. It’s been a really tough and scary experience, but I feel so blessed to have all of your love, prayers, and support.

Honestly, that’s what gave me the strength to get through this. And not to forget my mom who took the very next flight and gave me so much strength. Thank you so much for being there for me — it truly means the world,” she wrote.
