Karnataka man killed after Rs 10 argument escalates into deadly petrol pump clash

RAICHUR: A dispute over Rs 10 turned into a violent clash that left a man dead at a petrol pump near Hanchinala Camp in Karnataka's Raichur district on Wednesday night.Police have arrested six people in connection with the murder.The incident, which was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the petrol station, took place under the jurisdiction of the Edapanoor police station.According to police, an argument broke out between two groups over Rs 10 at the petrol pump late on Wednesday.The confrontation soon turned violent, with several people allegedly attacking the victim.CCTV footage circulating on social media shows a group of men involved in a scuffle at the fuel station moments before the victim was assaulted.The Edapanoor police have arrested six accused in connection with the case.Investigators are examining the circumstances that led to the clash and are scrutinising the CCTV footage as part of the probe.Further investigation is underway.
