Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has won the National Energy Conservation Awards 2025 under the State Energy Efficiency Performance Award (SDA Group-1) category, The second place was taken by Maharashtra. 

President Droupadi Murmu presented the award at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on December 14 during the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. 

Energy Minister K.J. George and Additional Chief Secretary Gaurav Gupta hailed the achievement, reaffirming the State’s leadership and commitment to sustainable energy and climate action.
