'Karthi 30' shoot begins in Hyderabad; Meenakshi Chaudhary joins as the female lead

Actor Karthi has officially started work on his much-awaited 30th film, currently referred to as 'Karthi 30.' The movie launched with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on the actor’s birthday.

The regular shoot has now begun, and the team is busy filming important scenes. This project marks Karthi’s entry into direct Telugu cinema while also being made in Tamil.

Kalyan Shankar directs Karthi and Meenakshi Chaudhary

The film is directed by Kalyan Shankar, who impressed Telugu audiences with films like ‘MAD’ and ‘Tillu Square’. Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead opposite Karthi in this bilingual entertainer. The makers aim to present Karthi in a fresh and energetic role that will appeal to audiences in both Tamil and Telugu markets.

According to News 18, the shooting is going well, and the production crew plans to release some exciting updates soon.

The first look poster is also expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

'Karthi 30' gets a grand launch

After producing successful films like ‘Vaathi’, ‘Lucky Baskhar’, and ‘Viswanathan & Sons’, the makers have now joined hands with Karthi for another big project. The production house is mounting the film on a large scale with high production values.

The pooja event was attended by popular producer Dil Raju, actor Sunil, and several members of the film industry. With a strong technical team and a promising cast, the movie has already created a strong buzz on social media.

Karthi balances 'Sardar 2,' 'Marshal,' and his Telugu debut

Meanwhile, Karthi has completed shooting for ‘Sardar 2,' directed by P. S. Mithran. The film is currently in the post-production and graphics stage. At the same time, he is also working on 'Marshal,' directed by Tamizh of ‘Taanakkaran’ fame. Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan stars opposite him in that film, and the next shooting schedule is expected in Rameswaram. Even with multiple projects in hand, Karthi has now started shooting for his direct Telugu film, making his lineup even more exciting for fans.
