Kashi Tirtha Yatra train tour in Sept

Madurai: IRCTC southern zone will operate a Bharat Gaurav tourist train from Sept 9 to 17, covering Gaya, Kashi (Varanasi), Prayagraj and Ayodhya in an eight-night nine-day pilgrimage package. Titled “Kashi Tirtha Yatra, the religious and cultural tour will take travellers on a round trip from Tirunelveli to the spiritual hubs.The train will have an AC two-tier, seven AC 3-tier, and three sleeper class coaches, besides a pantry car and two luggage-cum-brake vans. Commencing service from Tirunelveli on Sept 9, it will travel via Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Chennai. The return trip will commence on Sept 15 and end at Tirunelveli on Sept 17.The train will have stoppages at Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Chennai for boarding and deboarding with destination stoppages at Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj.
