The Karnatak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) is organising a Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Awareness and Registration Drive in Hubballi on Thursday.
Secretary of KCC&I Uday Revanakar has in a press release said that the programme which will begin at 11 a.m. is aimed at providing detailed guidance on direct access to government buyers, transparent and digital procurement processes, online tendering/bidding and order management, special benefits for MSMEs and Start-ups and nation-wide market expansion opportunities.
Experts will also offer step-by-step guidance on the GeM portal registration process, product/service listing, bidding procedures and benefits available to MSMEs and Start-ups.
Members of the chamber should grab this opportunity to achieve “Supply to Government-Market Expansion-Business Growth”, he has said.
GeM is an official online platform of the Union government which enables entrepreneurs, manufacturers and service providers to directly supply their products and services to Central and State government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and other government organisations.
Mr. Revankar has requested participants to bring their documents such as PAN, Aadhaar, GST registration certificate, Udyam registration certificate and bank account details of their firm.
